Legend of the Seeker was produced in New Zealand by Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert. The show starred Craig Horner, Bridget Regan, Bruce Spence, Craig Parker, and Tabrett Bethell. Despite ongoing fan efforts to rescue the show, which was cancelled because of the Tribune Company’s 2010 bankruptcy (depriving the show of 1/3 of its USA broadcast market), it appears there is no longer any hope for a movie or other production until Terry Goodkind closes a new production deal (should he wish to do so).
